My approach and process.
Understanding your requirements is essential in-order to personalise and create a bespoke photography session.
Understanding your requirements, to capture the story and vision. Before the session I offer a telephone consultation, set up an in person meeting depending on the service you require, then we can run through the process for preparation and I can answer any question you may have.
The Consultation
Photography session
Capturing the shots, my approach is professional and relaxed. Depending on the service required, I adapt how I deliver each session. Family portraits and pet photography is of course different atmosphere to commercial work, however I deliver a fun and natural style to capture the magic.
Studio and design
Back in the studio, I review all images and video captured and then carefully edit. Once this is completed, depending on the nature of the service provided. An online service is provided so you can access the downloaded content.

Spending over 20 years in the health and fitness as a coach, photography was always a hobby of mine, until I was asked to capture photo’s of people’s stories, events and memories.
I love capturing moments that my clients can treasure, especially when they are printed and framed.

I really enjoy capturing honesty , and the ability to evoke genuine emotions - creating a more natural approach, unless a different brief is required. I enjoy natural light photography, however utilise lighting when required.

I use a mixture of equipment, digital, and vintage (if required), including videography - gimbals, drones and microphones, depending on your brief i can deliver.
If there is any specific equipment required, I can hire in for the shoot.

Accordingly the photographer, at his discretion, accept cancellations and issue a refund depending on the amount of notice received prior to the agreed date:
More than 5 working days 75% refund, 3-4 working days 50% refund, 48 hours 25% refund.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not receive a refund.
In the event of project cancellation by the client, any payments are non-refundable. The client is responsible for compensating the photosphere for any work completed up to the cancellation date.

Photography editing can vary depending on the several factors such as the workload, the complexity of the editing required, and the number of photos in the session.
Generally, for a standard portrait session it may take anyway from a few days to a couple of weeks to complete the editing process. For larger events like weddings or commercial shoots, it may take a few weeks to a couple of months.
All work will be communicated on expected turnaround time, to manage expectations effectively.

Yes, once the shoot is completed and the edits are ready, you will have access to your online gallery, from here you can purchase prints, albums, canvas, and more.
Hourly services
Depending on your requirements, I can provide photography for the rate of £50 per hour, I tend to produce around 30-50 images*, after I charge a hourly editing fee of £20 per hour.
*Editing is subject to T&C’s, videography may be charged higher subject to the brief and requirements. Mileage is charged at £0.50 per mile over a 20 mile radius.
Half day services
I charge a rate of £200, this would be a 4 hour shoot. Depending on the nature of the service needed, the fee’s may differ slightly, however will be discuss and agreed via consultation.

Full day services
I charge a rate of £400 for a full day shot, generally based around an 8 hour day, additional hours charge accordingly, or an agreed charge at point of consultation.
*Same T&C’s applied, further costs may be applied based around the service provided, however will be discussed and agreed on consultation.
